You've probably wondered what this is all about. Why in the world would we have Stefan and Wendy do this workshop which really doesn't have anything to do with knitting or crocheting.... but does it??
Perhaps a little more information and background is called for here.
Stefan is the author of 3 books on design.....websites that is. But design is design, and finding inspiration is finding inspiration. I remember when we had Kaffe Fasset and Brandon Mabley at our store for classes, we had the chance to show them around town and it was so interesting to see things through their eyes and see how everything they looked at gave them ideas.
Stefan and Wendy work that way. They recently were asked to teach a workshop in Las Vegas as an afterthought to the main convention. I forgot the exact numers but I do know that 500 people signed up for their class and close to 2000 were turned away. Those that got in paid $250.. for the priviledge.
So it doesn't matter what hobby you persue or what you do for a living. You will benefit from this opportunity to learn to think "outside the box"! If you're given a few materials just think of the things you can create from them. Stefan will get you to think in that way. We're only charging $5.00 for this event (I can't even believe that) but we have an "in" because he's my favorite son-in-law.
